The Motoscope Classic and Chronoclassic tachometers (identical to the Classic but with a black background and white needle) 8, 10, or 14,000 RPM are very compact analog tachometers with a diameter of 85 mm (80 for the body) and a depth of 34 mm. They allow the display of all necessary information for driving: RPM, speed, clock, daily or total distance, turn signal indicators, alarm, neutral, headlights… They have been designed for multiple uses, ready to be installed on roadsters, café racers, or sports bikes, as well as cross karts or cars. Using high-quality materials, hand-assembled with meticulous quality control, these gauges represent the highest degree of finish, technology, and quality you can find. The DARK version features a black LCD screen instead of green, available only on the Chronoclassic versions (with a black background and white needle).
With a pure and minimalist design, it takes on a classic look. Its mass-machined aluminum housing is brushed and then anodized black, and the bezel can be either brushed and anodized black or polished aluminum, and it is 100% waterproof and resistant to vibrations. The black RPM numbers and the red needle, all on a white background, are backlit by white side LEDs for perfect night visibility. The central part of the gauge consists of a backlit LCD screen and 4 indicators: headlight, neutral, turn signals, and alarm. The diameter of 80 mm allows for very easy replacement of the original gauges.
To ensure perfect visibility of the information, an integrated light sensor continuously adjusts the lighting of the LEDs as well as the LCD screen according to the ambient light. The speed is always displayed on the first line, while the other parameters are visible on the second line. The alarm indicator flashes when the thresholds set by the user are reached and can be used for engine RPM, water or oil temperature, minimum and maximum pressures, voltage, or any other parameter that can be measured by a sensor.
The configuration of the screen and functions of the Motoscope Classic tachometer, as well as navigation through the menu, is done via the motorcycle’s headlight switch or a Motogadget push button. A mini push button is included, but any other Motogadget button will also work.
About 55 cm of cable is connected to the tachometer, and it is also supplied with an M5x22 speed sensor with 150 cm of cable, a fuse, and 3 M4 stainless steel mounting screws that secure the gauge from the back to a « homemade » mount or a specific mount offered by Motogadget.
